We now have all our finalists for our 2016 Picture of the Year competition (voting opens next week), after this beautiful picture by James Andrew Photography was voted our December 2016 Picture of the Month. The picture was taken during Hannah and Anthony’s wedding at Cranage Hall in August 2016, as the sun started to set. James recalled what an emotional day it was…

“Hannah and Anthony tied the knot back in August at Cranage Hall, Cheshire. I met up with them a few weeks earlier near to the venue for an engagement shoot. We had a great laugh and I knew their wedding day was going to be amazing.

“On the big day a rather emotional ceremony was followed by prosecco and ice cream in the sun. The gardens at Cranage Hall made a stunning backdrop for their photos, and we couldn’t have asked for better weather. Later on Hannah’s dad’s gave a speech that left everyone reaching for the tissues again, and then it was time to get ready to party.

“As the sun started dropping and the dance floor was being prepped, we took a walk out towards the lake at the front of the house. Hannah and Anthony had a cuddle as the sun set and I managed to capture this shot of them. I think you can tell they are madly in love!”
